FCA offers three different ‘Success Learning Tracks’ for high school students.

  • Regular High School Track  (exceeds state minimum requirements)
  • Dual Credit College Track  (with area community college)
  • Associates Degree College Track  (two years full college / Modified Early College Academy)

FCA has a team of faculty and staff leaders who collaborate for individual learner success and track planning.

College track pursuits can begin in the summer after 10th grade level.

Qualification for dual credit or the associate degree track is decided through an ACCUPLACER preliminary assessment, and a Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) directed by the Director of College Academics.

All students must remain on the FCA school campus regardless of the success learning track taken.

At FCA, students are encouraged to pursue their passions while in high school. Many determined students are able to do this by working towards their associate degree during their junior and senior year. FCA has a number of students who received their college diploma BEFORE walking across the graduation stage at FCA. Because of these accomplishments made by these resilient and impressive students, we couldn't be more proud.
