FCA Movie Night
The Student Council hosted a movie night on campus, and based on attendance, it certainly was a success. This event offered a great opportunity for friends and family to come together to enjoy one of the best classic movies of all time, The Little Rascals. If you were there, you may have noticed a few special guests… That's right! The whole “cast” from The Little Rascals were in attendance. Members of the Students Council dressed up as characters from the movie, and some even adopted certain mannerisms to add to the fun. Kids and adults alike enjoyed the movie while they indulged in drinks and snacks provided by STUCO (with popcorn, of course!). Slightly over 100 attendees came out to spend the evening in the FCA parking lot. The movie was played on an inflatable screen, and families brought their favorite lawn chairs to sit in for the movie. At the end, a raffle was drawn, and a student from fourth grade and his family won the amazing “movie night” basket put together by the Student Council. The mosquitoes tried, but nothing could stop the amazing time everyone had at FCA's first ever movie night.
National Day of Prayer
Every year, on September 27th, schools all around the nation come together for "See You at the Pole." This event represents a heartfelt opportunity for students and faculty to come together as one and pray in agreement. Prayers were lifted in covering the school, students and staff, and local communities. United, we asked for safety and guidance throughout the school year, as we maintain our focus of being the light of the world and the hands and feet of Jesus. Many parents came out to experience this special occasion with their students, and the parking lot of FCA was filled with love, hope, and movement of the Holy Spirit.
